Business and Investment Plans
Our experience in developing business and investment plans exceeds USD 9 billion in Mexico.
One of the problems facing investment processes, whether public or private, is that the investment initiatives being proposed are not backed and justified by proper studies. In many cases the "projects" submitted for financing or approval lack a clear diagnosis of the problem they are meant to address; in other cases there is no clarity about the project itself, for example its optimal size and location, its components, or the costs and benefits it will involve. Often there is not even certainty that the proposed project will actually have an impact on the problem it is meant to solve.
Before a project goes into execution, it is important to have the necessary and sufficient elements to make an informed decision on whether or not to carry out the investment.
Within a project's life cycle, the pre-investment stage is essential because it must demonstrate the feasibility of the intended initiative. A solid pre-investment stage reduces uncertainty about the expected results during project execution and operation, and it identifies the risks that may arise so that, if a negative event occurs, the mitigation measures to apply have already been defined.
Our work serves as a benchmark for the actions to be taken while preparing investment projects, with the aim of producing Cost-Benefit Analyses based on reliable, specific information about the problem to be addressed, the expected costs and benefits, and the project itself.
We cover everything from the business plan, the pre-investment project and risk management through financing and execution.
